Brain Bureau

Brain BureauThe “brain bureau” looks after the co-curricular activities of the school. To start with we celebrate “Vidyotsav” on a grand scale. Vidyotsav is not like any typical annual day celebration. It is a celebration of wisdom, of joy, of arts and above all of the wonderful journey called life. To provide opportunity to our huge number of students, their parents, our ex-students and all the members of the parivar – the event is organised for two days and on each day the students perform twice. These four shifts together constitute Vidyotsav. We have students from virtually all parts of India. To celebrate that diversity we try to bring every part of India to that stage.

Quizzes and debates are a regular feature of the activities. Brainstorming sessions are held to prepare the students for the competitions.

The concept of a cultural fest featuring the four houses are in the process. The brain bureau is overflowing with ideas. We propose to organise the following competition on a round-the-year and fest-specific basis:

  1. Quiz
  2. Debate
  3. Singing
  4. Antakshari
  5. One Act Play
  6. Rangoli
  7. Wall-Magazine
  8. Collage
  9. Jam
  10. Extempore

Over the years, the students of the school have performed well in many inter-school competitions.

Yet our motive and goal are not that. In this case, means are more important than goals. To add to that we want to make sure that every day of the school life becomes a day to remember.
